Why do I Have to Purchase a Membership?
Only members of SUPERSTAR ANIME (Aka Superstars) are eligible to attend the annual event. A membership must be purchased for all individuals seven years of age or older. All events and areas of the convention are for members only. Superstar memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. This means that you will not receive a refund if you are unable to attend Superstar Anime. Refunds will only be issued in instances of accidental over payment.

What are the benefits of joining?
First and most important, is the community. You also don’t have to pay for all the extra things we do throughout the year.

Can I just buy a ticket to Superstar Anime to go to the event?
No. Membership is required.

How long does a membership last?
Memberships run from the time of purchase to the the final date of the annual event. Meaning, the earlier you purchase the longer you can take advantage of member privileges.

Refunds
Memberships are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another guest.

Lost Badge Policy
If you lose your badge during the event you will be required to purchase a new badge. In the event of a lost badge, please check with Lost & Found (located at the Information Desk in the Virginia Beach Convention Center) to see if your badge has been turned in. Proper identification MUST be provided in order for your lost badge to be returned to you. We recommend writing your legal name on the back of your badge.
